Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your email address, if you create an account. We use passwordless sign-in: either a magic link sent to your email, or Google sign-in (which shares your Google account email with us). We never store a password.
• Your saved items — favourites, wish lists and saved searches are stored against your account so they are there when you come back.
• Server logs — like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and diagnostics.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts, we do not sell or share your data for marketing, and we do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: they keep you signed in to your account. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you never sign in, you can browse the whole site without an account.

Where your data lives

Accounts and saved items are stored with Supabase, which provides our database and authentication. The site itself is hosted on Vercel. Both act as data processors on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Restaurant and wine data

The wine lists, prices and venue details on Reserve are factual business information published by the restaurants themselves — they are not personal data about you.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Email hello@reserve.example and we will sort it out. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes affecting account holders will be flagged by email.
